[TRANS] 130418 – 130419 Staff Diary ★Here Goes Ms T & Mr T★

(Translator’s Note : The names of the 2 staff on the original website are T美 and T郎 which.. really don’t make much sense at all in English hence the liberties with the name)

04.18. 2013

Hi everyone, I’m the new Bigeast Staff  Ms T . You probably know us from the Bigeast Member’s Magazine….

From today, Mr T and I will be the official reporters, randomly bringing you news about the production of the goods and other information, so please remember to check it out♪

04.18. 2013

Hi everyone! I’m Mr. T.

Congrats on the special site opening!

We’ve released the goods list! Immediately, I asked the goods staff about one item that they’re concerned about.

<T – Holder>

When you gather thousands of these, you could make a red ocean! This time, there will be a magical connector “T-Holder” which allows you to make a T with just one hand ∑(`∀゜´*) Wow!!!

They thought about making an actual T-shaped light but decided to make a connector after considering the shape as well as as being able to use (the penlights) that everyone already has.
Its great that the T-holder is also shaped in the form of a T!
I tried putting in the penlight that comes with the tickets that are eligible for a free penlight (its design is different from the one being sold), and the red light is not blocked, so please don’t worry♪

As it will be dangerous if you swing it too strongly, so please be careful when using it in the concert hall.
We might also end up glowing red during the live…( *´艸`)

04.19. 2013

Ahh!! Should I say “as ever” or “even more so than before”… they look so good this time as well!! ヽ(*`゚∀゚´)ノォォォォォォォォォォ!

Both Mr T and I went for this shoot as well, and events such as Yunho actually falling asleep while doing the sleeping scene, the images on the monitor being so amazing that we used our phones to take photos of these images, and Changmin’s eye expressions that looked past the camera giving the cameraman goosebumps left a deep impression.

We definitely have confidence in the product with the two of them!

By the way, I read the message that the two of them wrote at the end, and I was about to cry。。。・゚・(*ノД`*)・゚・。

I will follow the two of you forever!!! Everyone too, right !?

B1A4’s Jinyoung has expressed his joy in joining the ranks of the Act-dols (Idols that Act).

Jinyoung, who participated in the press conference on 15 April at the CJ E&M Centre in Sangam-dong for the new tvN drama “She is Wow,” picked JYJ’s Park Yoochun and Big Bang’s TOP as role models.

He said, “I watched Yoochun act, and felt the earnest in his acting. I thought that he was a really good actor,” and “In the movie ‘Into the Fire’, TOP’s acting was really good as well.  His eye expressions were great. I look at the two of them, and it makes me work harder.”

[2nd Anni Project] JYJ Magazine: The Story Of 1000 Days Translations Part 2

Part 3. A Continuous Voyage

9. [C-JeS’s insight] Putting the restrictions behind us and voyaging to a new world

Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu released their worldwide album <The Beginning> on the 12th of October, 2010. This was their first album since the creation of JYJ. The album, in which all the tracks are sung in English, was a collaboration with people such as Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins, a producer famous for his work with Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. JYJ began performing with the world as their stage with this album.

JYJ’s ‘worldwide move’ was inevitable. Leaving TVXQ and creating JYJ made it difficult for Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu to hold any domestic activities, but this paradoxically became an opportunity for them to take on the world. CEO Baek Chang Joo broadened his vision and looked to a bigger stage. Stating, “I believed that English would be the best way to communicate with the world as a whole,” he also added, “We thought of releasing the album overseas and importing it into the Korean market.”

CEO Baek explained his ideas to the members, and they followed him without any objections.

“In Korea, most idols are faced with limitations on their activities when they pass the age of thirty. When JYJ was first created, we made sure to look ten years into their future. I believe that an entertainment agency needs to become a partner to celebrities and stay with them for a long time. I told the members that even if they started pursuing individual activities, the growth of each member would result in the growth of JYJ eventually, and the members began to understand what I had meant after time had passed.”

[TRANS] 130407 JYJ’s Jaejoong Reveals In Nanjing Solo Concert “I’ll Get Married At About 38”

(T/N: I know that JJ’s event is technically a “Mini Concert and Fanmeeting” but the article calls this event a concert for most part so I’m just going to go with it)

Idol group JYJ member Kim Jaejoong held his solo concert in Nanjing, China, and revealed that “I’ll probably get married at about 38.”

Jaejoong held his solo concert “Your, My and Mine in Nanjing”at Nanjing’s Olympic Sports Center on 6 March 2013.

On this day, through stages such as a mini-talk, quiz show and other exciting events, Jaejoong came closer to the hearts of his fans. When asked “When will you get married?” he replied “Around 38,” and also “Compared to someone who is too skinny, I prefer someone a little chubby” and received loud cheers from the fans.

Following that was the cooking corner, where Jaejoong made rabokki (Dukkbokki with ramen added to it) together with the fans, and then performed the song “Kiss B” which is found in his repackaged album. The final program in the fanmeeting was a paparazzi corner, revealing unpublished photos of Jaejoong and his unstoppable charms.

At the start of the mini-concert, Jaejoong appeared transformed as a rocker, as the passion continued to take over the hall. Jaejoong performed his first solo song to be revealed from his mini album “One Kiss” in a glamorous stage, then continued with songs from older singers such as “I Loved You”, “For You”, “Always Yours” and other rock ballads. He performed “I’ll Protect You” with the fans, and they showed their support for Jaejoong by singing along in perfect Korean as a group.

Jaejoong has been holding his Asia Tour starting with Ilsan in January, continuing with Thailand, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Nanjing and continuing with Taiwan on 13th April.

[TRANS] 130405 JYJ Performs In Tokyo Dome After 3 Years, “Stage of Dreams”

“To be able to stand on the Tokyo Dome Stage again makes us really happy.”

Performing in Tokyo Dome in the first time in about 3 years, the popular Korean group JYJ held a press conference before their final performance on 4 April.

This Dome performance is their first concert since they had won the lawsuit against Avex for their Japanese management rights in January this year.  Calling Tokyo Dome the “Stage of Dreams,” they said “This is a new beginning. We will work hard in today’s performance so that we will have no regrets.”

The performance on this day was also to be streamed live in 113 cinemas, with about 70,000 fans getting together for this event.

The following is the Q&A session.

— What are your thoughts on performing in Tokyo Dome after 3 years

Our activities in Japan took up about half our time (in the period of promotional activity since debut), so Japan is like a second home to us. Therefore having not been able to appear in media broadcasts or perform in Japan is regrettable. But looking back, it was an opportunity for us to grow.  When we stood on stage for the first day (of these concerts), we promised ourselves that “This is the beginning. We have to work hard again. I’m really happy because these concerts are not the end, but a true beginning.” (Junsu)

— What has changed in the last 3 years?

“In the past 3 years, we haven’t been able to release any Japanese albums, so there are no Japanese songs (of our own) to perform. So far, we have always been singing Japanese songs whenever we perform in Japan. Aside from that, nothing seems to have changed, and I find that fascinating as well. 3 years is a long time but it feels short. The passion of the fans shown in the past 2 days has not changed.” (Jaejoong)

— What are your plans for this year.

“We’re thinking of releasing an album, but we haven’t decided on how we would be releasing it.” (Junsu)
“Although the legal issues (for Japanese activities) have been resolved it doesn’t mean that there won’t be problems. We’ve been thinking a lot about it as well.  Things often don’t go as planned, but we will try our best even when given the smallest chances.” (Yoochun)

— This is your 10th year since debut

“I can’t believe that it’s already been 10 years. There has been a lot of laughter, and a lot of difficulty as well. I feel like I’ve learnt more about the value of life, than anyone else. I want to say that it has been a really happy time.” (Junsu)

— When was the hardest time?

“When we are unable to attend media broadcasts. It’s the same now, as it was 3 years ago.  But somehow, we’ve now think about the positive aspects more so than the negative ones, and changed our direction towards being thankful (for what we have). Recently, I haven’t been feeling unhappy.” (Junsu)

— What are your dreams from now on?

“I do not wish for more than I have now. There is a lot of things I want to do but there are a lot of constraints and things cannot be done, and that is regrettable.  My aim is just to do the jobs that I have been given, and work with those who are important to me. My dream is to continue working as part of JYJ for as long as possible.”  (Yoochun)
