The main cast of ‘Dracula’, including JYJ’s Kim Junsu, recently released a video of lunar new year greetings.
The staff of ‘Dracula’ posted the video on their official Facebook page on the 5th for fans of the musical.
In the video, Kim Junsu can be seen saying, “I hope you have a great time with your family members and siblings. I hope that this year is a meaningful one for you that allows you to accomplish everything you want to do.” Park Eunseok, who was cast in the role of Dracula alongside Kim Junsu, said, “I’ll be spending this year’s lunar new year with the cast and staff of ‘Dracula’. I think it’s going to be a more meaningful lunar new year than ever before. Happy new year, everyone.” Their greetings were followed by statements from Lim Haeyoung, Kang Hongseok, Jin Taehwa and Lee Ye-eun, who each put their own spin on their greetings.
The first Broadway performance of ’Dracula’ was held in 2004, and is a reinterpretation of Irish novelist Bram Stoker’s famous novel by genius composer Frank Wildhorn. The first time the musical was performed in Korea was 2014, and the 2016 run has been praised for going deeper and grander than the musical’s initial run.
