[TRANS] 160202 Kim Junsu To Hold A Japanese Ballad Concert, “A Special Gift-Like Performance”

JYJ’s Kim Junsu will be holding a ballad concert in Japan.

Kim Junsu will be holding his ‘2016 XIA The Best Ballad Spring Tour Concert vol.2 in Japan’ concerts at the Nagoya Gaishi Hall on the 15th and 16th of March, and the Tokyo International Forum A Hall on the 30th and 31st.

The upcoming concerts will be a Japanese version of Kim Junsu’s Ballad&Musical concert, which is held at the end of the year every year in Korea.

Kim Junsu’s Ballad&Musical concerts began in 2012 and over the past four years have become a brand of their own, creating a stage for the singer to showcase various musical and ballad numbers for his loving fans.

His first Japanese ballad concert tour was held in May of 2014 in Tokyo and Osaka, and successfully drew a total of 60,000 fans. Since the end of the first tour, requests have been flooding in for another one, and that was what finalized the decision to hold another round of concerts in Japan.

One representative stated, “Added to the fact that a large group of Japanese fans fly to Korea to attend Kim Junsu’s musical performances and end-of-the-year concerts, the demand for Kim Junsu’s ballad concerts in Japan continues to grow.”

They continued to add, “The Ballad&Musical concerts have a charm that differs from his regular album tours, and will give the singer an opportunity to perform various musical numbers, Japanese ballads and OSTs for his Japanese fans,” and “It will be a special gift-like spring concert for Kim Junsu’s Japanese fans who have been waiting a long time for his return.”
