[TRANS] 140609 Kim Jaejoong To Release His OST For ‘Triangle’ Today

Today, Kim Jaejoong will be releasing the OST he both wrote and sang.

Kim Jaejoong, who plays the role of Heo Young Dal in MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Triangle’, will be releasing his main theme song on the 9th. ‘Even if I Hate it (싫어도)’, which the singer wrote and sang, was first revealed during the 9th episode of the drama, which aired on the 2nd of June, as ‘Young Dal’s Theme Song’. The song received an explosive response from netizens soon after. People became more interested when they found out that Kim Jaejoong had written the song himself.

The emotional and sad lyrics perfectly reflect the harsh realities that Heo Young Dal faces, with lyrics such as, “Will the skies please answer me, you’ve left me here all alone. I’ll throw aside my pride and hold my anger in. I’m waiting for you”, “If we happen to cross paths, even if I’ve changed, we’ll still be in love”, “Please remember the promises we made, and my cries. Although I’ve been selfish and unable to tell you, it’s been hard without you, I’ve missed you.”

A representative of Taewon Entertainment stated, “Kim Jaejoong was able to write lyrics that perfectly portrayed Young Dal, perhaps because he’s become totally immersed into his character,” and “The song’s received a lot of attention since it was aired last week. It’s a very meaningful song because Young Dal wrote the lyrics and sang his own theme song.”

‘Triangle’ depicts the story of three brothers (Lee Bum Soo – Kim Jaejoong – Im Siwan) who are split up at a young age and become a police officer, gangster and a successor in a chaebol family respectively.
