TVXQ’s ‘Something’ has topped the charts for its third consecutive week.
Digital music service company Soribada stated, “TVXQ’s ‘Something’ topped the music charts for the 4th week of January (January 20th~26th), winning the team a triple crown accomplishment.”
TVXQ’s song was followed by Hyorin’s ‘Hello’, the OST of the SBS drama ‘You, Who Came From The Stars’. The song become a big hit when it was first released during Jeon Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun’s kiss scene in the latest episode of the drama.
‘Let It Go’, from the soundtrack of the Disney movie ‘Frozen’ came in at third place. With over three million tickets sold, the popularity of ‘Frozen’ continues to rise as its soundtrack ranks high on various music charts.
The battle of girl groups is still going, with The Seeya’s ‘Tell Me’, 4Minute’s ‘Did Nothing But Gain Weight’ and AOA’ ‘Miniskirt’ coming in at 4th, 5th and 6th place respectively.
‘I Didn’t Have An Answer’, the title track of Hong Dae Kwang’s first album, was off to a great start, coming in at 7th place. Rainbow Blaxx’s ‘Cha Cha’ came in at 8th place, Free Style’s ‘Maybe’ came in at 10th, and Sunnyhill’s ‘Don’t Say A Word’ came in at 15th place.
