Kim Jaejoong became the only solo artiste to earn a spot in the top 5 ranks of the Hanteo Singer Awards.
C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “Kim Jaejoong came in at fourth place in Hanteo Charts’ ‘2013 Singer Awards’. The Hanteo Charts released the results after tabulating all sales counts for the year, and Kim Jaejoong proved his power in the industry by being the only solo artiste to rank in the top 5 rankings.”
They continued to state, “The first round of ticket reservations for the ‘2014 Kim Jaejoong 1st album Asia Tour Concert & J Party’ concert, the Seoul leg of Kim Jaejoong’s nationwide tour that is scheduled on Kim Jaejoong’s birthday, will be held at 8pm on the 2nd. It will be a meaningful time for fans to enjoy music from Kim Jaejoong’s first full-length album and celebrate his birthday.”
Kim Jaejoong released his first mini-album ‘I’ in January of 2013, and his first full-length album ‘WWW: Who, When, Why’ in October.
The singer’s full-length album topped the iTunes charts in 12 countries, including Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. It also came in at first place on Tower Records daily charts, 4th place on Oricon’s weekly charts, and was chosen as the best K-pop song on CCTV for three consecutive weeks. In Korea, Kim Jaejoong topped the real-time, daily and weekly charts simultaneously, and won Synnara Records’ poll to estimate the winners of the 2013 K-pop Awards.
