JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong will be making his comeback to the K-pop industry with his first full-length album in October.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Kim Jaejoong will be releasing his first full-length album in October. He released his first mini-album and repackage album in the early months of this year, and all 200,000 copies were sold out. He also held a successful tour across seven cities in Asia, heightening the anticipation for his first album,” and “If his mini-album in January showcased his talents as a rocker, Kim Jaejoong’s first full-length album will showcase his various talents as a vocalist.”
Kim Jaejoong’s mini-album was much-loved in Asia, South America and Europe. ‘MINE’ scored over 32 million views on Yinyue Tai and made him the first Korean singer in 2013 to top the iTunes charts in Japan.
Having opened a solo concert in Yokohama in June, Kim Jaejoong sold all 45,000 tickets, including ones for seats with a restricted view, and 120,000 fans initially applied for tickets, proving just how popular he still is.
A representative stated, “Since the release of Kim Jaejoong’s mini-album, the anticipation for Kim Jaejoong as a solo singer has been rising. His new full-length album will be yet another special gift for all fans who love Kim Jaejoong.”
Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong is currently working hard on new music to put in his upcoming album.
