TVXQ have Japan going crazy.
Starting at the Saitama Super Arena on the 27th of April, TVXQ have begun their Five Dome Tour in Japan and are expected to perform in Sapporo Dome, Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka’s Yahoo! Japan Dome, Osaka’s Kyocera Dome, Tokyo Dome and Yokohama’s Nissan Stadium. Japan’s JR Line will be adding extra runs to Tokyo for the Sapporo Dome performances to balance out the sudden influx of fans. It’s extremely rare, even for Japanese top stars, to have additional subway runs scheduled for concerts.
Meanwhile, TVXQ will be attracted 850,000 fans to their tour across 18 performances till mid-August. TVXQ have broken the record as the Korean idol group with the biggest tour in a single country and the group is expected to bring in profits of 102 billion Won from ticket sales alone. They will also be the first non-Japanese singers to be holding a concert in Nissan Stadium as the finale of their tour.
TVXQ will be releasing their new Japanese single ‘Ocean’ in June.
