Tohoshinki will be the first Korean singers to hold a tour of the five major domes in Japan.
Tohoshinki will begin their concerts at the Saitama Super Arena (T/N: ‘stadium’ leg of the tour) on 27 April 2013, then tour through the five major domes in Japan – Tokyo Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo Dome, Sapporo Dome and Nagoya Dome. An explosive response is expected since it will be the first time any Korean singer has held a five-dome tour.
According to their management agency, SM Entertainment, Tohoshinki will be the 4th foreign artiste to hold a five-dome tour, following Bon Jovi (2003), Eagles (2004) and Billy Joel (2006). This is a record which reaffirms the popularity of Tohoshinki.
According to representatives, “Tohoshinki’s Japan tour ‘Tohoshinki Live Tour 2012 ～TONE～’ held this year was a success, and attracted over 550,000 audiences. Currently, they have begun their world tour with their concert in Seoul. There is indeed much anticipation towards their concerts next year.” It is also planned for Tohoshinki to release a new single on 16 Jan, prior to their five-dome tour. The single will include the Japanese version of “Catch Me”, and a new track “I Know”.
Tohoshinki, who are expected to carry out promotional activities for their new single, expressed their thoughts, “We are very happy that a five-dome tour, which has been our dream since our debut, has been decided. We will give our best to prepare good music and cool performances. Please look forward to it.”
